It has been a long time since the mortal world has truly believed in the strange and supernatural. Despite this, the supernatural has existed alongside the living for many years, unseen and unknown to them - and the Bureau of Spiritual Affairs have been doing their best to keep it that way. However, the world is changing. Slowly but surely, individuals with super powers have been appearing in the world, bringing with them all manner of the strange and supernatural, in plain sight of the living, and the BSA won’t stand for it. They have assembled a special task force made up of some of some of their best operatives and freelancers, responsible for venturing into the mortal world and attempting to maintain the secrecy of the supernatural. When supers gear up to clash with each other, this team would shut them down before the world can see. When a super begins battling hollows, this team intervenes. When the spiritually unaware learn of what is hidden, this team does damage control, spinning tales of gas leaks and escaped zoo animals. They stand between the secrecy of the Great Beyond and the ever growing awareness of the living. You are a member of that team. You will put your life (or not) on the line against great odds, use your great power for the good of the Bureau, and in the end likely be reprimanded for collateral damage. But hey, at least the suits are nice.
In essence, the player characters will be playing the BSA equivalent of the Men in Black, working to hide the supernatural. Players are not required to play as Agents, but will be working in a team under them, as long as their race choice is reasonable for the American Genesis setting.
The Specifics:
-American Genesis setting and changes are in effect.
-Player characters will start at level 1, with a 25 point buy.
-True Hero will be used, best of two rolls with a minimum of 4.
-Alternate Superhuman racial feat is used.
-Improved Inner Hollows will be used when applicable.
-Any books with relevant content are allowed.
-Super Points are given as per Complete Amalgamverse.'
-Paragon feats are allowed.
-A minimum posting rate of once a day would be preferable, though not required.
-If you don't post for a week, we'll keep moving without you until you post again.
