Revised Shikai, Constant Release, Bankai, Doll Training and Premature Bankai rules
1. Zanpakutou can not have opposing elements like fire and water
2. Shikai should not be limited to this encounter thing because it requires a move action to activate and that's enough of a down side for the increased reiatsu multiplier and it has never shown using your shikai tires you out unless you spam your attacks/abilities like crazy.
3. When a Zanpakutou breakes in Bankai it does not regenerate and should it be repaired you loose 1 Bankai pick when repaired by some one like Mayuri until you run out of them then at which point your Bankai is gone for ever barring being repaired by the 0 squad or the like.
4. Shikai and Bankai picks should always be counted as if you got said feats at level 1 so as to prevent savant spamming and shikai/bankai rushing and in affect punishing those who don't.
5. Get rid off the swift shikai feat and add it's affects to the Bankai feats since when you obtain your Bankai you don't have to use the command word to release your shikai.
6. Make shikai a level 1 feat since it is piss easy to get at level 2
7. Make Bankai and Pre mature Bankai level dependent feats since skill with a blade does not denote a deeper connection with your Zanpakutou
8. Doll Training Bankai should be available at any level since it requires you stick your blade into a magic cardboard cut out. Make the challenge difficult and lethal if to much time lapses before the shinigami achieves Bankai.
9. The Spirit for Shikai is different to the Spirit for Bankai and if you are using the filler awakened Zanpakutou rules their appearane should change to denote this.
Noble Shinigami
Prerequisite: Shinigami must of been born into or married/adopted into the familiy
Benefit: You gain the Seated Officer and the Windfall Feats for free and plus 10 wealth due to your families wealth.
Note: The noble Houses/Families are rather controlling and as such you gain perks however there is a downside due to the increased responsibilities and the fact that they control almost every facet of your life, eg: who you will marry and what squad you will join.
Greater Noble Born Shinigami
Prerequisites: 1st Level and Noble Born Shinigami
Benefits: Your family is one of the great noble houses and as such you are an expert in their trade and have greater wealth, renown and authority. You and your DM create a Noble House and work out what 3 skills would best suit their specialty. You gain training in those 3 skills, skill focus and skill mastery for them and an extra 10 wealth and you will be amongst the top yen seats of whatever squad you are assigned to most likely the squad your family has the strongest ties to.
Noble Born Shinigami
As A_Shadow_Of_A_Life's feat and you add you gain 1 extra shikai pick at every third level and either the Noble Shinigami feat and may take the Noble Bastard or Fallen Clan Flaw.
Note: The reason I added the extra shikai picks is because the average lvl 20 shinigami would be counted as having 10 reiatsu feats and a bonus 600 base reiatsu is not an equitable trade off for what you gain from old blood or heritage feats.
Noble Bastard [Flaw]
Effect: You are a Bastard and a stain on your fathers families honor and as such you suffer undue hardships and possible attempts on your life. You start off at 0 wealth, non seated member and are sent on missions were you are most likely going to die.
Fallen Clan [Flaw]
Effect: Your family has fallen from grace and as such they have lost most of their wealth, holdings, influence and social standing. You get -10 wealth at level 1(min 0), -10 to diplomacy checks made within the noble houses and central 46(or similar governing body) and you begin as an unseated officer.
