Well here we go. I took inspiration from real life (sorta) and wanted to make some hollow feats that would work better the more invested in the spider concept you are.
But I need help balancing these feats as well as some requirements.
So without further ado. I present some feats from the Spider Hollow Supplement
Spiders might (Hollow growth, Spider) – You gain 1 point to your strength or dexterity score for each spider ability you take (pick strength and you will always gain a strength point whenever you take a Spider power. The attribute cannot be changed at a later point. You are either a strong or a nimble spider
Spider eyes (Hollow growth, Spider) – each time this power is taken, the hollow will grow two additional eyes
- 4 eyes total: +X to ranged attack attempts (X is your total number of eyes)
- 6 eyes total: You cannot be flanked. EVER
- 8 eyes total: Similar to the Combat Reflexes feat but the number of opportunity attacks per round is equal to your number of eyes or your dex modifier, whichever is highest
Spider limbs (Hollow growth, Spider) – each time this power is taken, you grow two spider limbs (treated as extra legs. Each time this power is taken the hollows base movement speed increases by 20 feet. But these limbs are very fragile. Breaking/tearing these legs off are quite easy since the hp for the legs are only ½ of what a normal limb would have. If broken or lost your speed will decrease by 20 (or 10 feet per leg).
Improved Spider limb (Hollow growth, Spider)
Requirement: Spider limb x2
Once you have gotten at least 2 extra limbs, your mastery of your spider physiology has improved enough to be able to use the extra legs as attacks. These limb attacks are at -10 and deal 1d6+str mod.
You gain an additional attack for each limb you have
Pheromones (Hollow growth, Spider) – make yourself allies with the opposite sex. Gain a bonus to seduction skills.. because who would go up against someone you have a crush on, ammirite? For each spider growth power you have, you gain a +1 to seduce a member of the opposite sex. The opponent is allowed a willpower save against your (10+½level+cha modifier+pheromone bonus. Each round the opponent is allowed a new will save against the effect
Bite of the Brazilian wandering spider – your fangs have different metals in the such as copper, iron, zink or magnesium. Your bite ignores the first 2 points of DR per spider hollow power you have. Ex you have 4 power and therefore your bite will ignore the first 8 points of damage reduction)
Venom (Hollow growth, Spider) – you are able to deliver venom through your bite. You will deal 1 point of damage to a specific statpoint of your opponent. When you pick this feat you will have to decide on which kind of venom you have. Either paralyzing venom which deals strength damage and will leave you unable to move if your strength reaches 0, the always popular venom that targets the constitution and will leave your opponents organs liquefied or the nerve venom which targets the intelligence and will leave you comatose. This power can be taken several times and its effect stacks.
Venom delivery (Hollow growth, Spider) – Your attacks with your limbs will now deal 1 point of stat damage depending on what type of venom you picked. Got three spider limbs? Well guess what. If all three hit then you deal 3 points of damage to your chosen stat.
Breath of the green lynx (Hollow growth, Spider) – You are capable of spitting your venom using your fangs. You can deliver one heavy venom attack. The damage your number of hollow spider powers. Got 5 hollow spider powers? Well then your spit attack will deal 5 points of whatever stat damage you have picked.
The range for this attack is 30 feet. For every 4 ranks you have in ranged attack, the range is increased by 30 feet
Huntsman spider legs (Hollow growth, Spider) – The hair on your legs are capable of sensing the air currents and therefore have given you a bonus to AC in the form of the number of spider limbs.
Spider hair: make a ranged attack to see if you hit your target. If you hit then the hair from your legs flies at the enemy. The enemy will experience some severe itching. This is shown as -2 to both attack and ac. The effect is cumulative
These are the first couple of ideas I have. There's still exoskeleton feats, molding, web feats, bite attacks and so on.
