I was asked by my group to come up with some new hollow powers and prestige classes.. But I am really horrible at balancing stuff. So I was hoping that you nice guys and girls can help me.
If this is okay then I will probably post more of the stuff. Currently I am making a load of spider hollow growths and thinking of making a spider hollow pdf supplement. But who knows. Maybe my grasp of balance is superbad. But without further ado here we go.
Jumping spider
Requirements: I dunno.. Bab 10+, Jump 10+ and.. 5 spider hollow growths?
1. Master jumper – You gain a bonus to your jump checks equal to double the number of spider hollow growth powers you have
2. Bonus feat or spider growth power
3. Fall damage – being a jumping spider is no easy feat. You are bound to fall.. a lot. So when you begin at lvl 3 you can fall 30 feet and take no damage. Above that and you will take damage equal to the distance jumped (minus the 30 feet of course). This power is increased every 2nd level by 20 feet. Once you are able to fall 150 feet without taking damage, you count as being immune to fall damage
4. Bonus feat or spider growth power
5. Pounce of the spider – First pick a target. Calculate how far that person is from you in feet. Now roll a jump check. If you succeed then you jump at your target and deal your jump check in damage + your weight
Figuring out how much you weigh and what it will deal in damage:
200 lbs = 1d6
400 lbs = 2d6
+200 lbs = Xd6
traveling 10 feet = 1d6
traveling 20 feet = 2d6
+10 feet = +Xd6
so a spider weighing 600 lbs (3d6) and jumping 100 feet (10d6) would deal 13d6
