Hello fellow forum lurkers and other lovers of fun,
So over the last days I'm sure you've seen the post in which we've had a guest user calling themselves "Truther" who made it a point to complain on an old thread of forum user Shota's old "The Missing Dragon Ball" thread.
With that I'm going to address and reiterate things that may have not been said on the forum, but should be taken as-fact, as I've stated before on the discord server.
*Everyone on this forum is due a certain amount of respect from me until they forfeit it. I will generally be polite to you, until you stop doing so to me. And even in the case of Truther, this last year I've made an effort to remain cordial in these situations. Of course, shit happens, and I can be baited like any other human being. That's why baiting people into breaking rules is against the rules on both community platforms.
*The active community is very important to me. Even if you're not a regular poster, having an account, to me, means that you're a member of this community, and I love and value you as a person. Well, except for a few cases in which I don't have any love for you, but that was love lost. This is the same for members of the Discord server, if you exist on the Discord you are also in this community and I care for you as a person.
With that in-mind, if a community member has an issue, they're free to tell me what that issue is, or explain it to me. I'm hardly what someone would call the community's outreach specialist, I wasn't brought on because I'm popular, I was brought on because I've created tons of content, and do so even when I'm not ON the dev team.
That does mean that you need to use your account when communicating with me. This forum has had a history of anonymous harassment (more anonymous than your forum accounts already are that is) and it simply means that guest accounts aren't someone I give a lot of stock into their opinion, especially as was the case with "Truther" who took to using a guest account to basically bag on my character over a year after the fact.
*I am a work in progress, we all are, we're all working to be better people, and that's why the other devs are here. That's why when a ban happens it's not the dictation of one person, a majority of devs have to agree on it. We're human and none of us are perfect.
*As a community we haven't been super forum active, and while I have no control over that I do feel that it's been largely due to a lack of new content. And all I can say is that if you're on the discord you've seen that we're working on 2.0 currently, work is happening, so there does need to be some patience. I don't know what Dionon has planned for 1.0 at the current time, but also I would ask that you're patient with him, and understand that he has an entire real life that he has to dedicate himself towards as well.
This isn't the WWE guys, feuds and beefs don't have a place here, and people in masks aren't put onto the roster.
