So one day I was watching some old kung fu movies, and William from Enter The Dragon got me thinking.
So I watched some Boondocks eps, specifically Let's Kidnap Oprah and Stinkmeaner 3: The Hateocracy.
"Alright, I guess it's time to stat out Bushido Brown now." - Maddwaffles, 2017
Designing him to be a martial artist, I decided to form up a style based around Solar Flare, with fire being the thing. Then I had him also have an animal style, Sarutobi being his secondary school (which only in hindsight do I realize is both fitting given the show from which he originated via a particular Uncle Rukus "no relation", and somewhat racist. but it's too late to take it back now). His special attacks were built a little bit, but I have this awful habit of not finishing out attacks, so occasionally as GM I design "revenge attacks" on my boss characters from their open points when my players annoy me with their absurd attack combos.
Anyway, Bushido Brown is the most prestigious Tournament Fighter in The Galactic Federation, attending every single one, with only a single recorded loss in the most recent Tenkaichi Budokai to a Hercule Satan.
And our story begins not long after the Jerry incident, Coriander moves on to fight this great martial artist. Only to get totally outclassed, he pushes her, and makes a total fool out of the saiyan female, who has never been so totally outclassed before. She goes Super Saiyan in the sheer rage at herself from her own weakness. Unfortunately, despite the power-up, Bushido puts down the saiyan handily still.
Next up would be the finals, with Syx offering him a Senzu Bean, though Bushido has no interest in the help, as he wished to do it "tournament style" and thus not at full power from the get-go.
The following battle is rather intense, with both sides throwing many attacks at each other, and potent special attack, Bushido with his array of fire-based assaults, and Syx with her dragon-ey might. Syx is even forced to use his first tier transformation, and escalate the fight further with an auto-fire special attack which has vital pierce applied to it. Though Bushido's True Hero feat allowed him to be immune to Ability Damage and Drain, for reasons to be discovered a moment later, he was left with a movement speed of 0, and had to zanzuken to get around. Bushido didn't sweat it though.
He was just here to blow off some steam after all.
Throwing his Collapsing Star Fist, a punch so powerful that it literally burnt his arm into a useless husk, it seemed that even Brown's most potent attacks wouldn't work, Syx was ready to throw another attack, which would not only defeat Brown, but restore her to full power via a vampiric quality. At the last moment, however, Bushido returned with his own barrage, bearing a similar power.
The two nearly broke physics, as their double vampiric now restored and hurt each other mutually. By the end of it, both were both in perfect health, with Bushido's arm even restored to working order! The encounter nearly destroyed the planet they stood on..... And so the match was declared a draw.
Bushido assured them that they'd see him again, at the World Martial Arts tournament.
